Q: What motivated you to start learning Japanese at J's Language School?
I moved to Japan with my husband and planned to stay long term. At the time my Japanese was very basic and I knew no kanji. I was hoping to improve my Japanese quickly so that I could get a job in Japan, as well as be able to do more independently in Japan in my daily life without the help of my husband. I moved to Japan with the intent to live here long term, and so I thought it was important to learn the language.
Q: What made you choose J's Language School?
I chose J's after researching many many schools. One big reason was that I felt communication with them was easy. They were very responsive when I was asking questions about their programs, and the trial lesson I did was great. The teacher was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Additionally, it was close to where I lived and was very affordable compared to a lot of other schools.
Q: What are the benefits of learning at J's Language School?
J's is very flexible and willing to accommodate the students requests and needs. For example, when I got a job working part time at a restaurant they created a whole lesson for me to learn phrases I would need every day. The teachers are all kind and patient, and I feel at home. Thanks to the teachers and staff I fell motivated to continue my Japanese studies still after 3 years.
Q: How has your life in Japan changed?
My life is so much easier thanks to J's. I can live my day to day life in Japan comfortably and can communicate enough to do most things independently. I have passed N2, obtained a Japanese tour conductor certificate, and do occasional interpreting work at my company. Had I not been able to make this much progress in Japanese I don't think I would enjoy my life in Japan as much. I am so grateful to J's!
Q: Would you recommend J's Language School?
I would absolutely recommend J's to my friend and in fact I often do. I'm so glad I found this school!
